Summary

This role involves planning, reporting, and consolidating financial data to provide key business insights. It serves as a liaison with Finance teams for internal and external reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, as well as interactions with External Auditors. The position drives process and system improvements, ensuring alignment across units and functions. It consolidates and analyzes financial KPIs, leads ad-hoc projects at the Corporate BPA level, and operates autonomously, efficiently managing complex tasks while communicating effectively with top management.

About the Role

Group Investor Relation (IR) Materials Preparation

  • Support Group Quarter-end and Year-end processes, including the preparation of key materials and validations for the quarterly financial Press Release (external reporting).
  • Engage in pre-quarter preparation and post-quarter close updates of IR documents, including reviews from TAs, legal, and other stakeholders (marketing, BD&L, CFO, IMI/IMUS Presidents).
  • Contribute to the Annual report support for the Group (additional documents compared to quarter close).
  • Prepare Group slides.
  • Create system reports to support the Board of Directors' deck preparation.

Quarter and Month End Process

  • Handle closing activities, including Group closing deck consolidation using inputs from all units and updates of reports/systems (Qlik, FRA coordination).
  • Provide consolidated views of Group financial results (P&L and FCF) for key executive presentations, including business drivers (sales, costs, TFC, and other relevant information).
  • Conduct post-close meetings with FRA on deck/system changes, focusing on items impacting all units.
  • Participate in external auditor meetings and coordinate to resolve questions from auditors.
  • Prepare master slides and relevant analysis files.

Financial Planning

  • Conduct financial planning activities on SMART and P&L consolidation.
  • Analyze all financial KPIs at the company level.

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant degree (e.g., Finance & Accounting or Business); Advanced degree preferred, such as an MBA.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written); other languages are considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Significant experience in group-wide consolidation/reporting.
  • Experience in group Investor Relations activities.
  • Proven track record in preparing financial decks for the Board of Directors/executive committee.
  • Ability to navigate a complex environment and distill complexity into strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent analytical skills linked with conceptual thinking abilities.
