Roche Switzerland bridges the gap between pharmaceuticals and diagnostics. Important research and development functions are located here. We are currently seeking an Operator MAB for our long-term client, F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG in Basel.

Background

In preparation for the fast transfer of Ocre in 2026 and the production of clinical and PPQ batches, we require operational support for shifts within the manufacturing environment of large molecules MAB. The role involves upstream processing (USP), with activities beginning in March 2026 and concluding at the end of Q1 2027. Operators will work in shifts according to the 6/4 shift model.

We prefer candidates with educational backgrounds in scientific or technical fields, such as pharmaceutical technology, biotechnology, or chemistry. Experience in the purification of large molecules or extensive professional experience in related areas is highly valued.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Weighing of raw materials
• Sampling
• Laboratory work: Cell count, pH measurement, etc.
• Supporting plant maintenance activities
• Cleaning
• Material management (local storage areas)

Must Haves

• Minimum vocational degree; a technical background and manual skills are required, ideally in biotechnology
• At least 1 year of experience in a pharmaceutical or GMP production environment
• Physical work is required, including support for weighing processes and handling of raw materials
• Basic MS Office skills and familiarity with MES/PLS (electronic documentation system)
• Fluent in German (minimum B2) in both speaking and writing
• Ability to work effectively in a team
