Laboratory Technician / Laboratory Technicianess

Your Tasks

- Perform chemical analyses using ICP-OES and ICP-MS, with occasional support for GC-MS and LC-MS measurements.
- Support the development, validation, and optimization of analytical methods under supervision, primarily for ICP-based analyses.
- Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot analytical instruments.
- Evaluate, document, and report analytical results.
- Provide technical advice and analytical support within a multidisciplinary project team.
- Ensure safe, organized, and efficient laboratory operations.
- Assist in training and supporting apprentices, interns, students, and researchers in analytical techniques.

Your Profile

  • Degree or professional qualification in chemistry with higher professional examination for chemical laboratory technicians, or equivalent expertise.
  • Extensive practical experience in ICP-OES and ICP-MS, including sample preparation, method development, troubleshooting, and data interpretation.
  • Basic to intermediate experience with GC-MS and LC-MS analytical techniques.
  • Good computer skills, particularly in analytical and spectroscopy data processing software.
  • Very good command of English; proficiency in German is desirable.
