We are a team of dedicated and talented individuals united by a shared drive to achieve excellence together. As part of the global Investor Relations Team, you will play a vital role in managing our engagement with the Swiss financial community to support a fair valuation of Novartis.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Strengthen relationships with current shareholders through the creation and execution of key account plans, while expanding our shareholder base by identifying new potential targets.
- Leverage financial and industry expertise to promptly address inquiries from investors and analysts, providing accurate and balanced information on various topics, from financial details to product-specific insights. Deliver aligned messages that enhance the Novartis equity story.
- Ensure Swiss sell-side analysts have access to all relevant publicly available information necessary to maintain accurate financial models for Novartis.
- Present the Novartis equity story confidently and clearly during Investor Relations-only roadshows, while adhering to all disclosure rules and regulations.
- Plan and support the execution of senior management roadshows, participation in bank conferences, one-on-one meetings, and other investor events, including capital markets days (e.g., Meet Novartis Management, R&D Day).
- Train senior management on disclosure principles and external messaging, providing guidance that enhances management's credibility in the eyes of investors.
- Act as a subject matter expert in one key therapeutic area for our business. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to anticipate investor questions, gather relevant information, and shape our external messaging accordingly.
- Capture investor and analyst feedback, sharing insights with the Investor Relations team and senior management.
What you'll bring to the role:
Essential Criteria:
- Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in Investor Relations or related functions (R&D, Commercial, Finance), or in sell-side research, investment banking, or asset management with a healthcare focus.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling.
- Strategic thinker with problem-solving and influencing skills.
- Ability to navigate complex issues and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Skill in building and maintaining relationships across all organizational levels.
- Fluency in both English and German, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Desirable Criteria:
- MD or PhD in a biomedical field, and/or CFA or degree in finance.
- Background in scientific research.
