Current Opportunity: GTF Head of Operations
To strengthen our New Engines organization, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of GTF Operations to lead all operational activities related to the PW1100G-JM (GTF) engine. As Head of GTF Operations, your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all PW1100G-JM disassembly and assembly operations, including managing Centres of Excellence (COEs) for backshop repairs.
- Ensuring Turnaround Time (TAT) and On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets are consistently achieved.
- Implementing best practices to maximize efficiency, streamline processes, and reduce operational costs.
- Leading and developing a high-performing team, fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and teamwork.
- Ensuring full compliance with SR Technics, OEM, and airworthiness authority standards and regulations.
- Promoting a strong safety and quality culture, ensuring all safety management elements are implemented and continuously improved.
- Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders (Planning, Quality, HR, Parts Repair Operations) and the OEM network to align processes and ensure smooth operations.
- Supporting the expansion and industrialization of new engine capabilities within SR Technics.
Your Profile
- Education: Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 10+ years in MRO or production environments, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Background: Strong operational knowledge of engine or aircraft maintenance (EASA Part-145).
- Lean Mindset: Proven experience implementing Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Strategic thinker with hands-on leadership, decision-making ability, and strong communication skills across all levels.
- Languages: Fluent in English (C1–C2); German is a strong advantage.
- Systems: Proficiency in ERP/SAP and MS Office tools.
