The Position

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Grade 6 teacher who can engage and inspire students through their passion and professional expertise. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in Upper Primary/Lower Secondary education, with a specialization in English and Humanities/Social Studies. They should be adaptable and enthusiastic about collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals to design, deliver, and assess a student-centered curriculum within a diverse international school environment. A teacher at ZIS will maintain high expectations for students, adopt a mentorship mindset, and be adept at differentiating content and instruction across all subjects.

Requirements

Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of experience teaching this age group, preferably within an international school setting. For non-Swiss/EU applicants, extensive international experience is required.
