Job Opportunity: HR Generalist (80%) with Compensation & Benefits Responsibilities (20%)

To enhance its HR team, our client is on the lookout for an experienced HR Generalist. This multifaceted role provides a balanced mix of HR administration, payroll and social insurance coordination, HR systems/data management, and compensation-related projects. Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Generalist will ensure the smooth delivery of HR operations while serving as the local expert on compensation and benefits matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle (200 employees):
    • Prepare employment contracts, amendments, certificates, and other HR documentation.
    • Coordinate onboarding, internal mobility, leave management, and offboarding processes.
    • Ensure accurate employee records and HR documentation throughout the employee lifecycle.
    • Respond to employee and manager inquiries while providing day-to-day HR support.
    • Maintain compliance with company policies and Swiss employment regulations.
  • Payroll, Social Insurance & Compliance:
    • Coordinate monthly payroll activities with the external payroll provider.
    • Manage salary changes, variable compensation elements, and benefits administration.
    • Maintain working time and absence records.
    • Coordinate sickness, accident, and other employee insurance cases.
  • Compensation & Benefits (20%):
    • Support and continuously improve local compensation and benefits practices.
    • Coordinate annual salary review and bonus processes.
    • Prepare salary benchmarks, market analyses, and compensation reports.
    • Ensure compensation and benefits policies are clearly communicated and effectively implemented.
  • HR Data, Systems & Continuous Improvement:
    • Maintain accurate HR and organizational data while safeguarding confidentiality and data quality.
    • Contribute to HR reporting, audits, and compliance requirements.
    • Support HRIS enhancements and data improvement initiatives.
    • Participate in local and global HR projects.

Profile Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Swiss HR certification required (HRSE).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR administration as a generalist.
  • Proven experience in payroll coordination and Swiss social insurance management.
  • Exposure to Compensation & Benefits activities, including salary reviews, benchmarking, and benefits administration.
  • Good Excel skills.
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong attention to detail and a sense of confidentiality.
  • Analytical mindset combined with a pragmatic approach.
  • Service-oriented and collaborative.

Home office option: 1 day per week.
