As a Functional Business Analyst focused on Core Platform Transformation projects, you will occupy a pivotal role between business and technology teams, turning strategic ambitions into definitive and actionable solutions. Your contributions will aid leading insurers in simplifying complexities, enhancing customer journeys, and unlocking the full potential of digital platforms in a rapidly evolving industry.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Continuously challenge and optimize customer journeys and business processes using data-driven insights and industry best practices.
• Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by translating business needs into well-defined functional requirements.
• Utilize your Guidewire functional knowledge to develop scalable and efficient solutions.
• Lead comprehensive requirements gathering, process mapping, and functional design activities across Policy, Billing, or Claims domains.
• Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and testers to ensure solutions align with business objectives and deliver measurable value.
• Support configuration, testing, and user acceptance to facilitate a seamless transition from design to implementation.

Who We Are Looking For

• A university degree with a strong academic record and ideally some experience in the insurance sector or at a major consulting firm.
• Experience as a Business Analyst with robust knowledge of Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter), with ClaimCenter knowledge being a plus.
• A deep understanding of core insurance processes and data flows, ideally backed by practical experience in policy administration or claims.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to translate business language into system logic.
• Experience in agile project environments, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver incremental value.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills, capable of building trust with both business leaders and technical experts.
