Job Opportunity: Senior Engineer
We are currently seeking a Senior Engineer to support our client in the further development and modernization of their consumer web portal, as well as the underlying cloud-native services.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance the registration, onboarding, and logged-in journey using Auth0 to unify portal access and improve customer experience.
- Develop and modernize AWS-based serverless services utilizing Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3, CDK, and Terraform to scale existing consumer services.
- Further develop modern frontend components with React/Next.js and facilitate the migration of existing customer accounts to the new consumer web portal.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of AWS serverless technologies, particularly Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFront, EventBridge, and SQS/SNS.
- Solid experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and micro-frontend architectures, including the development and extension of component libraries.
- Proficient understanding of REST APIs, Git/GitHub Actions, and CDK, alongside experience with Auth0/OAuth2, agile methodologies, and modern cloud architectures.

- Languages: Proficient in German and English
Additional Information
The client will provide the selected candidate with the necessary project hardware, including a Windows laptop. Due to access and security requirements, the candidate must work from within Germany throughout the project duration. Remote work from outside Germany is not feasible as access to the client's systems will be restricted to Germany.
