Full Stack Developer (AI Harness Codebase Hardening)

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to support our international client in the technical audit, hardening, and cloud migration of an existing AI harness codebase. This project primarily focuses on backend optimization using Python-based FastAPI and Node.js services, as well as the containerization and deployment of the application to AWS via Docker.

Responsibilities

• Full stack development, including the provision of hardened backend source code and Dockerized AWS infrastructure deployments.
• Implementation of automated test frameworks and responsive frontend modules integrated with designs from Figma.
• Conducting technical audits, reviews, and refactoring of the existing AI harness codebase (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript) to enhance maintainability and performance.
• Development and maintenance of FastAPI backend services and Node.js integration layers.
• Containerization of application components utilizing Docker configurations and multi-stage build scripts.
• Migrating and deploying the application architecture from local environments to the designated AWS cloud ecosystem.
• Configuring version control workflows and CI/CD pipeline integration components (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) for automated deployment.
• Designing automated testing strategies and executing code quality audits, static analysis, linting, and formatting routines.
• Technical interpretation and implementation of Figma design tokens and component specifications into responsive frontend codebases using TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Creating user interfaces for AI-driven features and developing technical documentation detailing system architecture and API schemas.

Requirements

• Strong project experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Proficient in frontend technologies including TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with cloud migration.
• Background in AI-driven environments and AI harness codebase hardening.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Figma experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integrations (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Experience working in international project environments.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English; German is a nice to have.

• Start: August (as soon as possible)
• Duration: 4 months (with the option to extend)
• Workload: 5 days per week
• Location: Mainly remote, with the first two months requiring 1-2 days per week on-site in Germany
• Languages: Fluency in English; German is a plus
