Field Service Technician II - Permanent - East US

Are you ready to take your technical expertise on the road and make a meaningful impact by supporting life-changing medical devices? Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician II to provide exceptional customer service and technical support for our cutting-edge medical devices.

Primary Responsibilities

In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment while ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires frequent travel and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Skills & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree or technical certification is a plus.
• Basic troubleshooting experience in electro-mechanical, electronic, or related fields.
• IT or networking experience is advantageous.
• Strong customer interaction and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to perform under pressure.
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Effective time management and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain customer equipment within the assigned territory.
• Provide timely and effective communication with customers and internal teams.
• Perform repairs, software/firmware upgrades, and new installations.
• Schedule and prioritize customer calls, managing the territory work queue effectively.
• Maintain tools, trunk stock, and vehicle required for servicing the territory.
• Complete necessary credentialing for access to customer facilities.
• Document service reports, labor, travel, and parts billing accurately.
• Participate in internal training and ongoing learning opportunities.
• Handle administrative tasks such as expense reporting, time entry, and inventory management.
• Travel extensively, including overnight stays, especially during the onboarding period.

Compensation

$62,000 to $66,500 per annum.
