Position: Facility Manager

Join our vibrant team in Grenchen as a Facility Manager and be part of something extraordinary! We are currently looking for our next colleague to complete our Facility Management squad. This role offers you the opportunity to perform alongside a supportive team of five direct reports, managing various maintenance, security, and management tasks to ensure a tidy and safe working environment for our team members and guests visiting our HQ. Additionally, your team will handle our vehicle e-fleet. We seek a dynamic professional with proven multitasking expertise in both administration and technical fields. A pragmatic individual who promotes improvement and excels at communication and persuasion at various levels will thrive in this role.

Your Contribution:

  • Enhance and maintain infrastructure by planning and implementing systems, organizing spaces, and proactively reviewing current building equipment.
  • Plan, implement, and review facility management guidelines by establishing standards and procedures and adjusting them as needed in coordination with other Breitling sites and facility colleagues.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of production-related facility installations and coordinate vendor interventions for necessary repairs in close communication with the production team.
  • Collaborate with our Senior HSE Manager on all relevant health, safety, and environment topics.
  • Liaise with various external facility management service providers to ensure maintenance and security for the smooth operation of our site.
  • Coordinate and assign tasks to your team while following up to meet the diverse needs of various departments.
  • Keep management informed by analyzing specific reports, synthesizing key information, and highlighting short- and long-term trends.
  • Support local and global initiatives in the field of security and vehicle e-fleet in alignment with other departments and colleagues.
  • Foster a motivated, collaborative team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications:

  • 5 to 8 years of professional experience in facility management, project management, or a similar position.
  • Solid experience in a fast-paced, international, and corporate environment; prior experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
  • Vocational training (e.g., Swiss EFZ/CFC), preferably in building services engineering, HVAC, architecture, or electrical engineering; or possess comparable qualifications.
  • Bachelor's degree in facility management or a related field (strongly preferred).
  • Very good knowledge of Office 365 tools and demonstrated project management experience.
  • Initial expertise in managing workplace assignments (advantageous).
  • Ability to independently run various projects with excellent stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles (mandatory).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in a matrix-structured environment.
  • A determined, resilient, and assertive personality.
  • Fluency in English, French, and German (mandatory requirement).
  • Valid Category B driving license.
