Position: Facility Manager

Join our vibrant team in Grenchen as a Facility Manager and be part of something extraordinary! We are currently looking for our next colleague to complete our Facility Management squad. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive team (5 direct reports) and manage various maintenance, security, and management tasks that promote a tidy and safe working environment for our squad members and guests visiting our HQ.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Enhancing infrastructure by planning and implementing systems, organizing spaces, and proactively reviewing current building equipment.
  • Planning, implementing, and reviewing facility management guidelines, establishing standards and procedures, and coordinating with other Breitling sites.
  • Ensuring the proper functioning of production-related facility installations and coordinating vendor interventions for necessary repairs in close collaboration with the production team.
  • Working closely with our Senior HSE Manager on all relevant health, safety, and environment topics.
  • Liaising with various external facility management service providers for maintenance and security to ensure smooth operations on-site.
  • Coordinating and assigning tasks to your team, ensuring that the various departmental needs are met.
  • Keeping management informed by analyzing specific reports, synthesizing key information, and highlighting short- and long-term trends.
  • Supporting local and global initiatives in the fields of security and vehicle e-fleet, aligning with other departments.
  • Fostering a motivated, collaborative team environment and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

We seek a dynamic professional with proven multitasking expertise in both administration and technical fields. The ideal candidate is pragmatic, actively promotes improvements, and excels at communicating and persuading at various levels.

Your Profile

You will fit well with our squad if you possess:

  • 5 to 8 years of professional experience in facility management, project management, or a similar position.
  • Solid experience in a fast-paced, international, and corporate environment; manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Completed vocational training (e.g., Swiss EFZ/CFC) in building services engineering, HVAC, architecture, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • A Bachelor's degree in facility management or a related field (strong plus).
  • Very good knowledge of Office 365 tools and demonstrated project management experience.
  • Initial expertise in managing workplace assignments (advantageous).
  • Ability to independently run various projects, overseeing all project phases with excellent stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles (mandatory).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in a matrix-structured environment.
  • A determined, resilient, and assertive personality.
  • Fluency in English, French, and German (mandatory requirement).
  • A valid Category B driving license.
  • Most importantly, a desire to have fun at work!
