SwissCore, the contact office in Brussels, serves as a bridge between the Swiss and European communities in the fields of education, research, and innovation. It also supports the participation of Swiss BFI institutions in EU programs within these areas. Job Opportunity: European Research Advisor (100%)
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in Brussels as an European Research Advisor.
Your Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between Swiss and European stakeholders and programs in the research field, particularly concerning instruments under Horizon Europe.
- Prepare high-quality, targeted information on research policies and programs at the EU level.
- Support Switzerland’s engagement in EU research programs and collaborate closely with Swiss research stakeholders, focusing on Horizon Europe.
- Promote and network Swiss research actors at the European level.
- Represent Swiss research stakeholders in official bodies and at meetings and events.
- Contribute to the visibility of the Swiss research landscape in Brussels.
- Be prepared to cover dossiers related to education and innovation as needed.
Your Profile
- Master’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in the public or private sector.
- Familiarity with the Swiss research landscape and good knowledge of EU research policy and relevant programs.
- Ability to consider the Switzerland-EU relationship within a comprehensive political context.
- Excellent editorial skills and proficiency in German, French, and English.
- Strong analytical capabilities and enthusiasm for research work, along with organizational talent and good IT skills.
- Confident and engaging presence with proven resilience and networking abilities.
- Great interest in promoting collaboration in the research area between Switzerland and Europe.
