Proclinical is actively seeking an EMR Maintenance Engineer to support calibration, maintenance, and compliance activities in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.

Role Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, executing, and documenting calibration and preventive maintenance for process instrumentation. Your efforts will ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. We are looking for a candidate with hands-on expertise in instrumentation, proficiency with calibration management systems, and familiarity with regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals or chemicals.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and preventive maintenance activities for process instrumentation.
• Manage calibration records and documentation using CMX Calibration Software.
• Ensure all activities comply with GMP requirements, site procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot and improve instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Coordinate maintenance activities through SAP PM Plant Maintenance.
• Review calibration data and documentation for accuracy and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure reliable plant operations.
• Support investigations, change controls, and corrective/preventive actions related to instrumentation and calibration.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Key Skills and Requirements

• Hands-on experience in instrumentation and calibration within pharmaceutical, chemical, or other regulated industries.
• Proficiency with CMX Calibration Software, including documentation and routine maintenance activities.
• Strong understanding of GMP requirements and documentation practices.
• Experience with process instrumentation and related systems in industrial manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with SAP PM Plant Maintenance and maintenance planning processes.
• Technical education in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Technology, or a related field. Candidates with relevant industry experience and completed apprenticeships are also encouraged to apply.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in German; good communication skills in English.
• Independent, structured working style with a strong commitment to quality, compliance, and safety.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
