ANAVIA specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) systems weighing up to 500 kilograms. We offer industry-leading unmanned helicopter systems tailored for various mission profiles, including Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Inspection, Mapping, and Cargo.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be integral to the design, integration, and testing of flight control software for our unmanned helicopter systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our systems are reliable, efficient, and comply with industry standards.

Main Tasks and Duties

  • System Design: Design and develop electrical and electronic systems for unmanned vehicles, focusing on power distribution, sensors, communication systems, and control electronics.
  • Integration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to seamlessly integrate electrical systems with mechanical, software, and control systems.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of electrical systems and components, including performance evaluations and troubleshooting.
  • Component Selection: Research and select appropriate electrical components and subsystems, ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including schematics, design specifications, and test plans essential for development and regulatory adherence.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers and systems engineers to ensure electrical designs align with overall project objectives and requirements.
  • Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in prototypes and production systems, implementing necessary design improvements with a hands-on approach during troubleshooting.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in electrical design for unmanned systems, robotics, or aerospace applications is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in circuit design and embedded systems, along with familiarity with design software (e.g., Altium, MATLAB). Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., CAN, I2C, SPI) is essential.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and solid analytical and technical understanding.
  • Language: Proficient in English (oral and written).
