Job Opportunity: Editorial Project Manager
Location: Zurich, In-office
Type: 100% Contract, Temporary
We are seeking an Editorial Project Manager to join our in-house creative studio. In this dynamic role, you will oversee the day-to-day production of print marketing projects, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and timely content creation process for our offline marketing materials and various ad-hoc projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain integrated project plans. Define project scope, objectives, and timelines while coordinating the daily delivery of work for brochures, sales letters, flyers, supplementary materials, and other offline marketing projects from brief to delivery.
- Timeline Management: Create and manage project timelines. Identify potential delays across dependencies—including editorial, creative, production, and translation—and proactively address issues to keep projects on schedule.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and team members. Ensure clear communication with detailed follow-up on information gathering and updates, while providing regular project status updates and addressing any concerns or feedback.
- Content Strategy & Development: Work closely with the creative studio—including copywriters, designers, and digital teams—to align projects with overall content strategies and goals. Coordinate the creation, editing, and proofreading of written content to ensure it meets both stakeholder and company goals.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that all content is error-free and adheres to the company's product information and brand guidelines. Manage risks early, maintain change logs, handle late requests, and escalate matters that may impact scope, quality, budget, or delivery.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with the creative studio, identifying capacity risks and competing priorities. Work closely with the Print Production Manager and Print Marketing Director to align editorial and production schedules.
What We’re Looking For
- 3-4 years of experience in editorial project management, specifically with print-focused projects such as catalogs, magazines, annual reports, brochures, or in a similar role within a creative agency or content-driven environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; capable of navigating ambiguity and handling clients in a professional manner.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high editorial standards.
- Proactive and structured, even under pressure.
- Adept at working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Full fluency in English (writing, speaking, reading).
- Full working rights in Switzerland.
