The Role of Director of Food and Beverage

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director of Food and Beverage to join us at The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel in Switzerland!

Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the daily Food and Beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service and attention to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Select, manage, and develop our Food and Beverage team.
• Be visible in operations, recognizing guests and cultivating new relationships.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef to plan and develop menus and wine lists.
• Control expenses through effective planning, budgeting, purchasing decisions, policy making, and inventory management.
• Ensure our guests receive the highest levels of service excellence.

As the Director of Food and Beverage, you will excel at building, leading, coaching, training, and developing a strong team. Your leadership will foster an inclusive environment where employees feel at home and well-supported, creating a great workplace that allows everyone to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Our Ideal Candidate

The ideal Director of Food and Beverage will possess:

• A passion for upholding high standards and ensuring that our food offerings remain the centerpiece of the guest experience.
• A wealth of experience in Food and Beverage within luxury resorts.
• A keen focus on team development and a creative flair that brings personal touch and energy to every aspect of our dining experiences.
• Previous pre-opening experience is essential.
• A minimum of five to seven years of experience in diverse Food and Beverage management positions, with hotel opening experience as a valuable asset.
• Fluency in both German and English is required, alongside eligibility to work in the EU.
