Exciting Opportunity for DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer for an exciting project in the public sector. The ideal candidate will possess solid knowledge in Kubernetes, GitOps/ArgoCD, CI/CD, Helm, Docker, and OpenShift, as well as hands-on experience in operating containerized platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deploy, and operate container workloads in Kubernetes clusters.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, including namespace management, RBAC, and resource management.
• Create and maintain Helm charts, Kustomize configurations, Kubeconfigs, and manifests.
• Monitor, alert, and respond to incidents for containerized services.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes following GitOps principles.
• Implement ArgoCD processes while ensuring the highest standards of quality, IT security, and data protection.
• Ensure quality assurance through automated tests, code reviews, and deployment gates.
• Design, set up, and configure CI/CD pipelines.
• Facilitate smooth deployments and corresponding software deliveries.
• Advise product management on infrastructure requirements and acceptance criteria, creating relevant technical documents.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in web portal development in the gematik environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in planning, deploying, and operating container workloads in Kubernetes clusters.
• At least 2 years of experience managing Kubernetes clusters, including namespace and resource management.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience automating build, test, and deployment processes according to GitOps principles (ArgoCD) in a highly regulated environment.
• Proven experience in Linux automation and management.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and incident response for containerized services.
• Skilled in designing, setting up, and configuring CI/CD pipelines.
• Experienced in creating and maintaining Helm charts, Kustomize configurations, Kubeconfigs, and manifests.
• Familiarity with Docker and RedHat OpenShift.
