We are seeking a curious, analytical, and motivated data engineer to join the AXA Group's Risk Management team in Winterthur. In this hands-on role, you will support the team in building a cutting-edge solvency reporting solution on Databricks. You will contribute to designing and implementing a modern database that transforms our current SAP-based solvency reporting while innovating new reporting-related analysis features.

What You Bring to the Table
- Strong Coding Skills: Proficient in SQL (MSSQL, MySQL, etc.), with solid experience writing SQL queries and understanding relational database concepts, including schema design, normalization, and query optimization.
- Programming Expertise: Comfortable writing production-quality code in Python and/or R, and leveraging it for data manipulation and integration with Databricks workflows.
- Willingness to Learn: Although experience with cloud platforms or Databricks is a bonus, a strong eagerness to learn modern data engineering practices and propose innovative solutions is essential.
- Interpersonal Skills: Expectation of teamwork in a multi-cultural environment with a proactive mindset and a willingness to learn. Fluent in spoken and written English; German is an asset.
