About Formula Swiss

Formula Swiss AG is a family-owned Swiss CBD company based in Zug. Founded in 2013, the company develops and sells premium hemp products to both B2B and B2C clients, serving customers in over 60 countries.

As the business enters a new phase of growth and organizational development, we are seeking an analytically strong and commercially minded Commercial Operations Lead to enhance execution, support key decision-making, and build a scalable foundation for further expansion.

Role Overview

This role focuses on applying economic reasoning to operational and commercial decision-making, including pricing, demand forecasting, cost optimization, production planning, and capital allocation. The objective is to transform data and market demand into well-informed decisions that boost margins, strengthen capital efficiency, and support long-term revenue stability.

With the CEO currently on medical leave, the successful candidate will assume a substantial portion of his day-to-day responsibilities and aid in guiding the business through an important growth phase. This hands-on role offers broad exposure across operations, supply chain, planning, product launches, and commercial execution.

The selected candidate will also lead the execution of an ambitious product launch pipeline in 2026, consisting of 20 to 30 new products across Switzerland and international markets. This will necessitate strong coordination across planning, production, inventory, timelines, and market execution.

A central aspect of the role includes building decision-making models using applied artificial intelligence to evaluate formulations, consumer demand, sales forecasting, customer preferences, and effective marketing strategies in Switzerland and beyond.

This is a unique opportunity for a high-potential candidate to take on significant responsibility early on and directly influence commercially important decisions in a growing Swiss business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume a substantial portion of the CEO’s operational and commercial responsibilities during his medical leave.
  • Support the business through a period of robust growth in Switzerland and internationally.
  • Lead the operational execution of 50 to 100 product launches in 2026, ensuring timely and well-coordinated delivery.
  • Translate growth targets into economically grounded operating plans, encompassing pricing, production cadence, inventory planning, and working capital management.
  • Build and maintain cost, margin, and demand models to support improved business decisions.
  • Create decision-making models using applied artificial intelligence to assess formulations, consumer demand, sales forecasting, customer preferences, and marketing strategies in Switzerland and global markets.
  • Oversee operational processes related to forecasting, reporting, procurement, inventory, and supplier coordination.
  • Align production planning with demand forecasts and stock requirements.
  • Enhance efficiency, strengthen internal collaboration, and establish a clear operational structure across the company.
  • Support leadership with prioritization, decision-making, and business continuity.
  • Develop scalable systems and processes that facilitate long-term growth.
