Role
We are seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for a newly established Swiss trading and business advisory company with core operations linked to India. The CEO will assume full executive and operational responsibility for the company, overseeing strategy, trading activities, risk management, and regulatory compliance in an international start-up environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall management of the company with full P&L responsibility
- Definition and execution of international trading strategy (India-focused)
- Leadership of supplier and partner negotiations in India
- Oversight of contracts, logistics, regulatory compliance, and risk management
- Representation of the company toward clients, partners, and authorities
Mandatory Requirements
- Proven experience as CEO or Managing Director of a trading company
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience in international trading and/or commodity-related businesses
- Long-term, hands-on professional experience in India, including direct supplier negotiations
- Operational knowledge of:
- India-related regulatory and customs frameworks
- Contract structuring and enforcement
- Foreign exchange and cross-border payment flows
- Ability to operate fully autonomously in a start-up environment
- Immediate operational readiness without onboarding period
Education
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field
- MBA or equivalent qualification is an advantage
