Key Responsibility Areas

  • You will develop and implement category strategies, managing assigned procurement categories throughout their entire strategic lifecycle.
  • You will conduct spend, market, supplier, and demand analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimization potential through data-driven insights.
  • You will design, maintain, and enhance KPI dashboards, benchmarks, and business cases to support informed decision-making.
  • You will drive the harmonization of products, specifications, and data structures while promoting standardization and continuous process improvement.
  • You will lead cross-functional projects, facilitate stakeholder committees, and collaborate closely with Procurement, Hospitals, Supply Chain Management, and business functions.

Your Profile

  • You possess a university degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, complemented by solid training in Strategic Procurement and Category Management.
  • You bring at least five years of experience in Category Management, ideally within healthcare or another complex and regulated environment.
  • You have strong analytical capabilities and proven expertise in spend analytics, KPI management, statistics, and data-driven decision-making.
  • You can navigate complex stakeholder environments, building alignment across diverse interest groups while confidently communicating with executive-level stakeholders.
  • You work in a structured, self-driven, and solution-oriented manner, possessing strong SAP MM and Microsoft Office skills, and combine a commercial mindset with excellent execution, project management capabilities, and robust communication skills in both German and English.
