About the Opportunity

A leading property consultancy is seeking an experienced Business Rates Manager to join its growing rating team. This is an excellent opportunity for a business rates professional to manage a varied client portfolio, provide strategic advice, and play a key role in delivering rates management solutions across a diverse range of commercial properties.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing client business rates portfolios, overseeing financial reporting, and advising on rating liabilities to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients. Working closely with occupiers, investors, and internal stakeholders, you will provide a high-quality consultancy service while identifying opportunities for savings and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of business rates clients and act as a key point of contact.
• Prepare and review rates budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Provide strategic advice on business rates legislation, reliefs, and liability mitigation.
• Identify risks, savings opportunities, and process improvements.
• Produce accurate client reporting and portfolio analysis.
• Support and develop relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

About You

• Experience within Business Rates, Rating Surveying, or Rates Management.
• Strong understanding of business rates legislation and administration.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and client management skills.
• Commercially minded with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver exceptional client service.

Package
