About the Role

Shape the future of Controls, Risk, and Finance through Data, Automation, and AI. You will operate at the crossroads of data, AI, and business transformation, providing guidance to clients on intelligent automation, GenAI solutions, and AI-driven controls across Finance, Risk, and Internal Audit. Harness your passion for emerging technologies, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and turn complex business challenges into actionable, high-impact solutions. Expand your expertise in data analytics, automation, and AI governance while significantly influencing organizational operations.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Work with clients to identify business challenges and transform them into data, automation, and AI-enabled solutions, particularly in Controls, Risk, Internal Audit, AI Governance, Treasury, and Finance Transformation.
  • Analyze, structure, and connect data from multiple sources while supporting the development of data pipelines, analytical models, dashboards, and technology-enabled controls.
  • Contribute across the full solution lifecycle, from requirements gathering and process analysis to solution design, prototyping, testing, implementation, and communication of results.
  • Collaborate with Deloitte's multidisciplinary teams in areas such as AI & Data, Cyber, Technology Strategy, Finance Transformation, and Human Capital to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Support client workshops, presentations, and proposals, effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What You Bring to Succeed

  • A consulting mindset and strong communication skills, with the ability to engage directly with clients, understand their needs, and explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • A university degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Initial professional experience - or strong academic/project experience - in data analytics, data engineering, software development, automation, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.
  • Hands-on experience with Python and/or SQL, along with familiarity with modern data processing, analytics, or visualization technologies.
  • Fluency in English; German is a strong advantage.

What Sets You Apart

  • Exposure to modern cloud and data platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar technologies.
  • Interest or practical experience in Generative AI, Large Language Models, and AI agents; familiarity with concepts like APIs, RAG, tool integration, orchestration, or agentic workflows.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent platforms.
  • A genuine interest in applying technology beyond technical contexts, particularly in Controls, Risk, Internal Audit, AI Governance, Treasury, and Finance Transformation.
