What Will Be Your Tasks?
- Design mechanical engineering principles and system architecture during the project upfront phase.
- Define mechanical interfaces with suppliers, ensuring comprehensive support and follow-up.
- Distribute and prioritize tasks and sub-projects among the project team based on available manpower capacity, staff skills, and task constraints.
- Develop engineering 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical parts, assemblies, and installation drawings in accordance with engineering design rules and processes.
- Apply CPR instructions, BIGs, project milestones, and quality requirements to all deliverables.
- Guide and motivate assigned staff to meet project goals related to schedule, quality, and cost.
- Implement design-to-weight and design-to-cost approaches as per project requirements.
- Address risks promptly, identify project roadblocks, and close gaps between performed activities and customer expectations.
- Conduct revisions and manage concessions on 3D parts and drawings.
- Prepare, check, and release certification and compliance documentation, and participate in testing while preparing corresponding reports as required.
What You Should Bring With You ⛳️
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant functional area or related professional field from an accredited university.
- Several years of experience in engineering mechanical domains and management.
- Proficiency with CAE and CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Catia V5, Siemens NX, TeamCenter) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills and a positive team spirit.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Fluency in English (oral and written); knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.
