As a member of our Solution Consulting team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our future success by supporting one of our most strategic customers in the Life Sciences sector, in collaboration with the Client Director. Your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell the ServiceNow platform to this customer, cultivating relationships with existing stakeholders and identifying new opportunities that position ServiceNow as an integral part of their business. We are also seeking a visionary leader in AI who can elevate our customer's business to new heights, preparing them for the future in the era of Agentic AI.

What You Will Do in This Role:

The Solution Consultant serves as a technical consultant with advanced capabilities to develop, position, and deliver product-specific solutions throughout the sales cycle, while achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory.

  • Support product sales as a technical and domain expert within a client-facing sales team.
  • Lead discovery workshops to identify customer challenges and deliver product demonstrations that align our solutions with their needs.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to C-level executives and enterprise architects, ensuring alignment between ServiceNow's capabilities and critical business outcomes.
  • Design and deliver compelling, outcome-focused demonstrations that highlight business value, not just technical features.
  • Master the art of business storytelling, crafting narratives that connect specific customer challenges to our solution architecture and quantifiable results.
  • Respond to product feature and technical inquiries from customers, channel partners, and ServiceNow colleagues.
  • Provide valuable feedback to product management regarding enhancements that address customer needs and add further value.
  • Share and acquire best practices and reusable assets with other Solution Consultants to boost team quality and efficiency.
  • Stay updated on competitive analyses and market differentiation.
  • Support marketing events, including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically analyzing the integration of AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may involve utilizing AI-powered tools, automating workflows, or assessing AI-driven insights.
  • 7+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise in cloud software solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services.
  • Strong territory management skills, including pipeline building and working with sales counterparts to ensure execution excellence.
  • The ability to travel as necessary.
  • Knowledge of the Life Sciences industry is a plus.
