Position Overview

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial management of multiple customer accounts and the execution of relevant contractual obligations for maintenance services in Zurich. This includes coordinating engine induction slots and ensuring the successful completion of shop visits and engine serviceability while achieving the company's revenue and P&L targets in collaboration with Product Management and Sales.

You will maintain appropriate communication with customers regarding commercial, engine TAT, and parts exchange topics during shop visits and will facilitate both internal and external escalations as needed. This role also involves developing and expanding customer relationships and preparing for customer visits, whether on site at ZRH or at customer facilities.

Your Tasks

  • Take P&L responsibility for assigned customer accounts, providing recommendations to the Head of Account Management, VP Commercial, and Head of Business Unit. Ensure profitability of shop visits within the boundaries of contractual clauses.
  • Participate in contract handover meetings with Product Management, identifying and analyzing contractual risks and initiating mitigation actions accordingly.
  • Be the main point of contact for customers, handling feedback, organizing, and coordinating customer review meetings. Initiate and coordinate Closing-the-Loop review meetings after engine shop visits and provide feedback into the organization.
  • Lead kick-off meetings for new engine shop visits with the Ops Project Lead, Engineering, and Purchasing, providing accurate engine delivery information for induction slot planning. Organize and coordinate Table Inspections with customers and communicate any commercial and TAT-related topics during shop visits, ensuring OTD of engines.
  • Offer customers part replacements and exchanges, communicating the financial aspects of these to them.
  • Issue Preliminary Invoices based on shop visit price estimations and conduct invoice reviews for Main/Final Invoices at the end of shop visits. Build and release accruals for volume discounts, marketing fees, TAT penalties, warranty risks, and potential invoice disputes. Resolve and settle invoice disputes with customers.
  • Lead and support the cash collection process with involvement from Sales.

Your Profile

  • Commercial or Technical degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial or technical experience in the MRO industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer-facing position in the MRO industry.
  • Strong understanding of the MRO or related Aerospace business.
  • Strong business acumen and contract understanding.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and intercultural awareness skills.
  • Fluency in English.
