About Us

The Global Centre for Behavioral Economics is a consulting boutique within Allianz. We believe that organizations thrive when they deeply understand human behavior and decision-making. We solve complex, real-world business challenges for Allianz and external clients by blending psychology, economics, strategy, and consulting expertise. Based in Switzerland, we are a small but growing, English-speaking startup with ambitious goals. We are looking for individuals passionate about behavioral science who want to make a tangible difference.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate: Align schedules with clients and prospects to ensure seamless collaboration. Track pending tasks and deadlines to keep everyone on the same page.
  • Optimize: Identify inefficiencies and implement measures to streamline processes, helping the team work smarter, not harder.
  • Oversee Budgets: Track budgets meticulously, handle invoice processing and generation, and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Grow with Us: Play an active role in shaping our startup by tackling essential tasks.
  • Support BE Projects: If interested, contribute to exciting Behavioral Economics projects and workshops, supporting innovative ideas that drive measurable change.

What You Bring With You

  • Behavioral Economics Expertise: Strong grasp of key concepts with the capability to independently apply them to generate/validate insights, design or test solutions using tools like field experiments. A related degree (Master's preferred) and hands-on experience demonstrate your skills.
  • Consulting Savvy: Proficient in organizing projects, breaking down problems, structuring solutions, and delivering results. Building strong client relationships comes naturally, with typically 2+ years of client-facing consulting experience.
  • Drive and Resilience: Overcome adversity with a proactive, solution-oriented approach, eager to make a difference.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in German, French, or other European languages is a plus.
  • Bonus: Experience with machine learning (e.g., Random Forests, K-Means), AI, or behavioral data science is an added advantage.

Why You Should Work With Us

  • Professional Qualifications: Completed a commercial apprenticeship (KV) or equivalent professional experience. Alternatively, pursuing a degree in Business Administration or a related field, ideally at a university of applied sciences (FH).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quick to learn new digital tools. Experience with project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello) is a plus.
  • Organizational Strengths: Structured, detail-oriented, and skilled at prioritizing tasks for smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Proactive Mindset: Independently seek out tasks, anticipate team needs, and ensure results through persistence and reliability.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is essential, with German expertise being highly advantageous for local context.

"Let's care for tomorrow" also means creating a flexible work environment that supports the individuality of our employees. We offer options such as job sharing, 8 weeks of paternity leave, and 16 weeks of maternity leave, along with the possibility to purchase 10 additional vacation days per year, opportunities for further education, and additional benefits.
