As part of our activities on behalf of our client, we are seeking a versatile metal and welding professional to strengthen their teams.
Job Description
You will be involved in various projects ranging from industrial buildings to fine metallic carpentry.
- Reading and interpreting technical plans and taking measurements
- TIG, ARC, and semi-automatic MIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
- Assembly, construction, and installation of metal structures (doors, windows, railings, gates, staircases)
- Performing reinforcement for reinforced concrete (rebar)
- Cutting and shaping with a torch and plasma machine
- Factory maintenance and repair of chassis (heavy vehicles, dumpers)
- Participation in finishing work: painting, assembling scaffolding
We Expect
- Mastery of welding processes (TIG, ARC, MIG)
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team
- Precision in taking measurements and meeting deadlines
We prefer candidates who are already well-established in the Lausanne region and possess a good understanding of Swiss construction site constraints.
