Job Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supervising a team of warehouse operatives.
• Ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of goods from receipt through to dispatch.
• Maintaining high operational standards, adopting a hands-on approach, and collaborating with the team as needed.

Key Requirements

• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment, ideally in a supervisory or team leader role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and effectively manage a team.
• A hands-on approach with a readiness to work alongside the team during operational peaks.
• Thorough understanding of warehouse processes, including goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety practices within a warehouse environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Confidence using IT systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing operational demands.
• Experience in a technical or engineering-related product environment (e.g., heating, cooling, renewable energy, or electrical equipment).
• Health & Safety qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH preferred).
• Forklift license or experience operating material handling equipment (MHE).

Salary & Benefits

• Rotating shift pattern (coverage from 6:00am to 10:00pm).
• Competitive salary of £35,000 per annum.
