Job Summary

In the goods receiving department, 7,000 pallets of active ingredients, excipients, raw materials, packaging materials, and intermediates are received and processed monthly. Your responsibilities will include posting the received goods and reconciling them with the delivery notes. You will also be tasked with performing thorough inspections of the goods and entering the data into the ERP system (SAP), ensuring that stored products meet quality standards.

This position is fixed-term for 2 years and involves shift work.

About the Role

Main Responsibilities:

  • Receiving deliveries and checking for completeness, accuracy against delivery notes/order details, and performing visual inspections for integrity and packaging damage in compliance with current GMP, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Posting incoming goods in the ERP/Warehouse Management System.
  • Verifying material labels, batch and expiration dates, and temperature conditions upon receipt (e.g., for temperature-sensitive materials) and documenting any discrepancies.
  • Placing goods in designated storage areas according to the storage strategy.
  • Working in a regulated environment with high documentation and compliance standards.

Minimum Requirements/Professional Experience

  • Logistics vocational training (Logistiker*in EFZ).
  • Valid forklift operator certification recognized by Suva.
  • General HSE knowledge (Health, Safety, Environment).
  • Familiarity with GMP guidelines.
  • Good physical condition and a clean criminal record.
  • Team-oriented, strong communication skills, interface competence, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to work in shifts (2-shift system) and undertake physically demanding tasks (lifting and moving loads).
  • Proficiency in German, both spoken and written.
