We’re seeking a talented visual designer to join our in-house creative and marketing team in Zurich, Switzerland.

This Isn’t Your Typical Design Job

This is EF — a global education company with offices and schools in over 50 countries, united by a shared mission to open the world through education.

As part of the EF High School Exchange Year program, you will engage in exciting endeavors that inspire high school students and their sometimes-skeptical parents to embark on an enriching year of living with a host family and attending school in the U.S.

Your work will transcend borders and cut through the noise. Daily tasks will involve creating visuals that resonate with diverse cultures and audiences. From bold, eye-catching designs to polished print materials, and from sleek landing pages to dynamic social media ads — you’ll cover every aspect of visual communication.

Some days will be dedicated to big ideas, while others will focus on execution. We’re looking for someone who thrives in both scenarios.

You Might Be a Fit If You:

• Have 4–6 years of design experience (agency, in-house, freelance — we value your portfolio more than your job title).
• Studied graphic design, visual communication, or honed your skills through practice and passion.
• Are proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
• Understand that design is about effective communication and sales, not just aesthetics.
• Get excited about typography and strategic campaign planning.
• Maintain composure when timelines are tight.
• Are organized, proactive, and collaborative, recognizing that teamwork goes beyond shared documents.
• Enjoy thinking big but are also willing to dive into production work when necessary.
