You will gain valuable experiences by collaborating closely with Private Wealth Management Sales, Legal, Compliance, Technology, Finance & Global Operations, as well as Financial Crime Compliance and Engineering in this fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Our Operations division is a vibrant, multi-faceted entity that collaborates with every aspect of the firm to provide banking, sales, trading, and asset management capabilities to clients globally. Operations plays a critical role in risk management and control, safeguarding and enhancing the firm’s assets and reputation. Ensuring accurate and compliant KYC refreshes for our clients is paramount. Our PWM Operations team in Zurich plays a key role in delivering excellent client service by directly supporting all PWM clients of GSBZ Bank AG (Switzerland) and collaborating with local PWM Business teams based in Zurich and Geneva, as well as other PWM teams worldwide.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team, cultivating a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the Rolling Review function.
  • Drive strategic changes in KYC and Rolling Review functions while enhancing client experience from both Swiss and global perspectives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and strategic leader in KYC Rolling Review processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards for PWM clients in Switzerland.
  • Utilize your strong communication skills to partner effectively with PWM Business, Legal, Compliance, Technology, Financial Crime Compliance, Engineering, and Global Operations to provide optimal client solutions.
  • Initiate operational process automation efforts with Engineering to enhance efficiency, control, and scalability in the Rolling Review function.
  • Apply a strong risk & control mindset by critically reviewing operational processes to mitigate risk and guarantee the accuracy of KYC refreshes.
  • Represent your team by presenting strategic insights and operational updates to senior audiences and global stakeholders.
  • Think innovatively – your ideas are valued, and significant contributions to enhancing current processes are expected.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in financial services, specifically in banking operations and KYC functions.
  • Preferred prior experience in a Sales role with a demonstrated success in driving client experience strategy.
  • Experience with Onboarding and Rolling Review functions is highly preferred, ideally within both Front and Middle Office roles.
  • Proven leadership experience, successfully leading and developing teams.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, advanced problem-solving abilities, and a strong control mindset combined with meticulous attention to detail.
  • A demonstrated track record in operational process automation and effective risk management.
  • Aptitude for building robust relationships and extensive experience in communicating complex issues and presenting strategic information to a variety of internal partners, including senior stakeholders.
  • A self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership, acts as a change agent to improve processes, and has been accountable for significant projects.
  • Superior organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
