Position: Vice President Business Development - Middle East
As the Vice President of Business Development, you will lead and drive SR Technics' commercial growth in the Middle East and Africa region. This role involves defining the regional sales strategy, developing a robust and sustainable pipeline, and securing profitable business aligned with the company's targets and business plan.
Your Tasks
- Define and drive the regional sales strategy for the Middle East & Africa, aligning with the SR Technics business plan, budget, and growth targets.
- Lead, coach, and mentor the regional business development team to achieve or exceed annual order intake, in-year revenue, and profitability targets.
- Develop winning strategies for key sales opportunities in collaboration with the sales team, balancing customer expectations, market pricing, and SR Technics objectives.
- Drive the full sales process across relevant internal and external stakeholders, from lead generation to contract signature or post-mortem review, ensuring alignment with agreed timelines and objectives.
- Win new business, enhance existing customer relationships, and expand third-party engine MRO business, while ensuring high customer satisfaction and the development of long-term partnerships.
- Support operations through close commercial alignment, including engine induction management and coordination on key customer projects and commitments.
- Represent SR Technics at regional customer meetings, aviation events, and strategic business opportunities, ensuring accurate pipeline management, forecasting, CRM data quality, and the delivery of assigned business development projects.
Your Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience, ideally in sales, business development, or commercial management.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in the aerospace MRO industry (mandatory), with a strong preference for knowledge of engine services; a background in component services will also be considered.
- A proven track record of delivering sales growth, revenue, and profitability targets in a complex international environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of contracts, pricing, negotiation strategies, and financial drivers.
- An established professional network in the aerospace MRO market, ideally within the Middle East & Africa region.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and intercultural skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level and in customer-facing environments.
- A Master's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience; fluency in English is required, while additional languages are an asset. Arabic is a plus.
