Job Description
Workshop Tasks
- Read and interpret work plans, taking accurate measurements and marking references.
- Select metal pieces according to drawings and data provided by the technical office (profile, section, type of materials).
- Cut plates, sheets, and bars; mill, drill, shear, notch, file, and grind as required.
- Utilize automatic cutting and machining installations, and assemble various elements by welding and bolting (TIG/MIG/MAG), including mounting handles, locks, and other fittings while applying seals.
- Treat surfaces with anti-rust paint, regularly clean tools and equipment, and ensure proper storage of materials.
- Assemble aluminum profiles.
Assembly Tasks
- Assemble structural elements and hoist large pieces using a hoist or crane.
- Adjust and secure assemblies by bolting or welding.
- Install doors and windows, and secure railings and other facade elements in compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
- Possession of a metal constructor certificate, an AFP, or equivalent experience in the field of building metallurgy.
- Proficiency in the installation and/or production processes.
- Fluency in French.
- Ability to work autonomously and versatility in skills, along with a valid driving license.
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to share ideas.
- Preferred: Lift and working at heights permits, as well as welding certifications.
