Position Overview

We are seeking a Value Creation / Investor Relations Executive to join our leadership team. This is a senior, high-impact role focused on ensuring operational excellence within our portfolio, deepening investor relationships, and accelerating our pan-European strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Value Creation

  • Partner with CEOs across our portfolio to refine and execute growth strategies.
  • Maintain a regular interface with each portfolio company to ensure sound financial and operational management.
  • Provide on-the-ground mentoring and advisory support to CEOs in day-to-day decision-making.
  • Monitor revenue and growth plans, flagging risks and opportunities proactively.
  • Deliver clear, transparent post-acquisition reporting to investors on business performance and CEO effectiveness.

Investor & Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Develop and manage relationships with a network of ultra-high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and family offices.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for current and prospective investors, ensuring a personalized and high-quality engagement experience.
  • Lead capital-raising initiatives by activating and expanding AIA’s investor ecosystem.
  • Manage investor communications, including performance reporting, periodic updates, and future opportunity pipelines.

MBI Ecosystem Development

  • Cultivate strong relationships with local brokers, advisors, trade associations, and prospective MBI partners across Europe.
  • Actively support the expansion and positioning of AIA within the SME acquisition and succession ecosystem.

Strategic Business Development

  • Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships that align with AIA’s mission and deliver long-term value to investors.
  • Work closely with the executive team to explore new market opportunities and thematic growth initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of trends in ETA, private SME investing, and entrepreneurship through acquisition.

Leadership & Internal Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the executive team on strategic planning, investor relations, and business development.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Executive Chairman, supporting special projects and ad hoc strategic tasks.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience & Track Record

  • 10+ years of C-level experience leading commercial and operational strategy, with a track record of driving international expansion and EBITDA growth.
  • Deep cross-sectoral experience, ideally across industries such as manufacturing, consumer goods, financial services, and/or deep tech.
  • Extensive exposure to both start-up and scale-up environments with strong fluency in business model evolution and sustainable cash-flow management.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify operational efficiencies and unlock growth across varied business contexts.

Investment & Governance Expertise

  • 10+ years of investment experience including portfolio oversight, M&A execution, legal frameworks, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong grasp of transaction dynamics, value creation planning, and post-deal integration.
  • Experience serving on boards of directors and in presenting to boards of operating companies.

Mindset & Skills

  • Commercially astute and deeply analytical, with strong strategic instincts.
  • Able to build trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders, from investors to CEOs.
  • High integrity, resilience under pressure, and a collaborative, low-ego approach.
  • Comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial, fast-evolving environment.
