Job Opportunity: Digitalization Enthusiast

We are seeking a passionate digitalization enthusiast to actively drive the digital transformation of our Value Chain, from supplier to delivery. You will create value for our business customers, extend our digital backbone, and develop technology standards. This role is based at our global headquarters in Baden, Switzerland, reporting to the Head of Manufacturing Technology and Investments.

With the complete standardization of digitally assisted manufacturing processes and in-house interfaces to fully automated cells, we are laying the groundwork to evolve into a digital factory. Your high level of motivation, digital expertise, alongside proven programming and analytical skills, will be instrumental in propelling our company forward toward Industry 4.0, thereby generating significant business value and enhancing our competitiveness. You will be part of the business unit focused on Supply & Value Chain Excellence.

Your Responsibilities

• Extend our digital backbone from supplier to delivery to scale digitalization in our Value Chain.
• Translate business needs into IT language and implement them within interdisciplinary teams, making solutions visible across the company.
• Prioritize business needs by estimating the added value.
• Optimize our value chain in the areas of process automation, digitalization, and operational excellence to improve safety, quality, OTD, and costs, based on our digital strategic initiatives.
• Drive and implement technological innovation, including digital solutions in our process and system landscape, aligning with our digital strategic initiatives.
• Develop technology standards in our factory and beyond (from supplier to delivery).
• Facilitate the digital transformation within Accelleron through all your activities.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of our value chain processes to discover innovative solutions to complex challenges.

Your Background

• Degree in a relevant engineering, IT, or data science discipline, with a strong understanding of digitalization.
• Proven programming skills, complemented by outstanding analytical and conceptual abilities.
• Experience in the digitalization of processes within production, logistics, supply chain, maintenance, and quality.
• Familiarity with system architectures and interface development.
• Experience in the machinery industry is a plus.
• An entrepreneurial spirit and an intrinsic desire to drive digital change.
• A strong interest in problem-solving and interdisciplinary teamwork.
• A solution-oriented, autonomous, and proactive working style, along with a high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and a desire to learn.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is an advantage.
