Join Our Team

We are looking to expand the MSAT Validation Team with a Validation Engineer in MSAT (f/m/d).

Position Overview

This role within the Manufacturing, Science and Technology (MSAT) team focuses on process, cleaning, and shipping validation for biotechnological products. Responsibilities include leading technical investigations, supporting Manufacturing Support Engineers, and ensuring ongoing process verification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all functions associated with process, cleaning, and shipping validation, including defining validation strategy, planning, writing plans/protocols, execution support, and data evaluation.
  • Author and lead process risk analyses, defining the process control strategy.
  • Represent as a Validation Subject Matter Expert (SME) on global project teams and validation councils.
  • Provide support on internal teams, including investigation and project teams.
  • Author and assist with deviations, investigations, and change controls in manufacturing.
  • Make recommendations for process changes, lead implementation, and manage the respective change controls.
  • Engage in process monitoring (control charts) and statistical process analysis, including authoring continued process verification reports (CPV).
  • Contribute data, analyses, reviews, and other input to annual Product Quality Reviews (PQR).
  • Participate in internal, customer, and regulatory inspections.
  • Support Technology Transfer projects as receiving or sending process SME.
  • Drive initiatives in Operational Excellence and Environmental Health and Safety improvements.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Life Sciences.
  • Highly autonomous and proactive.
  • Excellent written (especially technical writing) and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
  • Experience in mid and large-scale process and cleaning validation in a GMP regulated Life Science industry (preferably Biotech) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge in cell culture, downstream processing, and aseptic manufacturing is a plus.
