Experience Required
- Proven experience with lab and debug equipment used for high-speed signal measurement.
- Experience with SerDes, USB3, USB4, PCIe, or other relevant high-speed communication bus/protocols is highly advantageous.
- System-level validation experience with high-speed integrated circuits.
- Proficient in debugging PCBs and ICs.
- Preferred experience interfacing with large OEMs.
- Experience in DDRx memory validation.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Perform protocol validation of Kandou products using compliance tools such as data exercisers, analyzers, and compliance test suites.
- Familiarity with industry standards, test specifications, and equipment vendors.
- Experience with interoperability testing.
- Experience with embedded software is a plus.
Skills Needed
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team player, with experience in cross-functional teams.
- A strong interest in testing high-speed digital and analog circuits.
- Experience with Python or other object-oriented languages is preferred.
- Proficient in using high-speed oscilloscopes, protocol/logic analyzers, and other lab equipment.
- Able to multitask in a high-energy environment.
- Proven track record in protocol validation.
- Nice to have: Knowledge of semiconductor test flow.
Responsibilities
- Conduct protocol validation of high-speed devices.
- Support customers and the field team during product design and/or product certification with requirements, design specifications, and system debugging.
- Write test scripts or other code to facilitate validation activities.
- Build and support product demonstrations for customers and trade shows.
- Collaborate with IP architects and digital and analog design teams.
- Document test results and procedures thoroughly.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), or equivalent work experience.
