Join SCHOTT Pharma as a (Senior) Validation Engineer

We are currently seeking a (Senior) Validation Engineer to join our R&D and Global Engineering division, based at our site in St. Gallen, Switzerland. This role may require some international travel to global production sites, approximately 10% of the time, depending on project needs.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop the qualification and validation strategy for local and international projects while providing consultation across the organization on qualification and validation matters.
- Accountable for planning and executing qualification & validation activities, including project management and coordination within global development and CAPEX projects worldwide.
- Perform and moderate risk analyses in accordance with specifications and standards (e.g., GMP-RA, FMEA).
- Create, review, and update qualification & validation documents, including plans, test plans, protocols, and reports.
- Actively shape the ongoing development of qualification and validation processes, supporting the growth of SCHOTT Pharma.
Your Qualifications
- A university degree in engineering, computer science, life sciences, or a comparable field, coupled with advanced training.
- Practical experience of over 3 years in qualification and/or validation within a regulated environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, with a relevant mindset.
- Strong understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), data integrity, GAMP, 21 CFR Part 11, EU-GMP Annex 11, and good documentation practices.
- Excellent technical understanding and analytical skills; experience in technical writing is a plus.
- Intercultural openness, strong communication skills, and an entrepreneurial, structured approach to work.
