Job Description

Attached to the Department of Integration and Solidarity (DIRIS), the Social Integration Center for Refugees (CSIR) is dedicated to providing comprehensive social support and financial assistance to recognized refugees during their initial years of residence in Switzerland. Established in 2023, the team at our Yverdon-les-Bains branch focuses on developing a local network and implementing innovative integration projects in the Nord Vaudois and parts of the Broye-Vully region. To strengthen the expertise of this multidisciplinary and dynamic team, CSIR in Yverdon is seeking a Unit Secretary.

Responsibilities

  • Provide secretarial support to the branch manager and their deputy, assisting them in their daily activities.
  • Manage the scheduling and follow-up of files for the branch manager and their deputy.
  • Offer administrative support to CSIR staff, taking on various administrative tasks for the branch.
  • Contribute to the efficient functioning of the branch's secretariat.
  • Oversee user reception and telephone inquiries, offering support to beneficiaries.

Qualifications

  • CFC in business administration or an equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the administrative field, including at least 2 years providing administrative support to management.
  • Proficient in common IT tools.
  • Proactive approach to tasks.
  • Knowledge of one or more languages relevant to the migration field is an asset.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer orientation and ability to manage stress effectively.
  • Demonstrated active listening skills and empathy.
