Transport Coordinator
70% - January to June 2026 (with possible extension)
Under the guidance of our Site Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing our new transport system. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Implementing and developing our new school transport management system (Vectare/SchoolsBuddy).
- Acting as the main point of communication for parents, students, and staff.
- Supervising the transport fleet and ensuring all vehicles remain compliant.
- Monitoring compliance with relevant transport legislation.
- Managing tachographs and ensuring accurate record keeping.
- Collaborating closely with the Site Coordinator and administrative teams.
- Coordinating schedules and daily routes with the driver team.
- Acting as the point of contact and support for drivers regarding operational issues.
Your Profile
- Holder of a D1 driving licence, up-to-date OACP, and driver qualification card (a major asset).
- Strong experience and knowledge of transportation regulations and practices.
- Experience or a strong interest in project coordination (an asset).
- Good command of both French and English.
- Strong communication skills and a welcoming attitude.
- Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure.
- Flexibility regarding working hours (including split shifts).
- Autonomous, well-organized, discreet, and reliable.
- Excellent administrative skills.
- Ability to lead a project through to completion.
- Proficient with standard IT tools.
- Valid work permit.
- Clean criminal record extracts.
