Founded in 2008, La Côte International School (LCIS) is a co-educational, English-language-based day school for students aged 3 to 18. We invite you to join our dynamic team in the role of Transport Coordinator, working 70% from January to June 2026, with a possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing and developing our new school transport management system (Vectare/SchoolsBuddy).
- Serving as the primary point of communication for parents, students, and staff.
- Supervising the transport fleet to ensure all vehicles remain compliant.
- Monitoring adherence to relevant transport legislation.
- Managing tachographs and maintaining accurate record keeping.
- Collaborating closely with the Site Coordinator and administrative teams.
- Coordinating schedules and daily routes with the driving team.
- Providing support for drivers regarding operational issues.
Your Profile
- Holder of a D1 driving licence, up-to-date OACP, and driver qualification card (a major asset).
- Strong experience and knowledge of transportation regulations and practices.
- Experience or a strong interest in project coordination (an asset).
- Proficient in both French and English.
- Excellent communication skills and a welcoming attitude.
- Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure.
- Flexibility with working hours (including split shifts).
- Autonomous, well-organized, discreet, and reliable.
- Excellent administrative capabilities.
- Ability to lead a project through to completion.
- Proficiency with standard IT tools.
- Valid work permit.
- Clean criminal record extracts.
