Role Overview

In this role, you will support the Project Director in executing large investment projects in Visp, overseeing the process from design phases to the handover of installations to users. Your responsibilities will include establishing, rolling out, and following up on robust project structures (such as organization, decision-making, communication, and documentation flows) in line with the SGIE Project Management Processes, thereby enhancing project team efficiency.

Additionally, you will undertake specific project tasks (e.g., TPL for a small equipment package, organizing workshops, reporting to management) to provide comprehensive support to the Project Director and his/her team.

Location

This position is based in Visp, Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal tasks to alleviate the project director’s workload
  • Assist in the preparation of project reporting, including charts for KPIs and information collection
  • Develop and maintain the Project SharePoint to establish strong processes for the project's administrative aspects, serving as a communication center for the internal team and external partners
  • Organize internal and external workshops, town halls, and team events, supporting team members with agendas, meeting minutes, and action lists
  • Participate in and assist with regulatory inspections and customer audits
  • Coordinate Technical Change Request tasks and activities, ensuring stakeholder considerations within project timelines

Qualifications

  • Dipl. Ing. / M. Sc. / B. Sc. in project management, engineering, mechanical, chemical, or a related field
  • Technical knowledge in chemical and/or pharmaceutical engineering is an advantage
  • Experience in SharePoint or website management
  • Experience in a cGMP environment is a plus
  • Fluent in English
