Role Overview

As a Project Support team member, you will assist the Project Director in executing large investment projects in Visp, guiding the project from design phases through to the handover of installations to users. Your contributions will be vital in establishing robust project structures (including organization, decision-making, communication, and documentation flows), adhering to SGIE Project Management Processes to enhance Project Team efficiency.

You will also handle specific project tasks (e.g., TPL for a small equipment package, organizing workshops, and reporting to management) to further support the Project Director and his/her team.

This role is based in Visp, Switzerland.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal tasks to alleviate the project director’s workload
• Assist in the preparation of project reports (graphs for KPIs, information collection)
• Develop and maintain the Project SharePoint to streamline administrative aspects of the project (includes communication with the internal team and external partners, meeting minutes, action lists, etc.)
• Organize both internal and external workshops, town halls, and team events (technical coordination, scheduling, etc.), and support team members in establishing agendas, meeting minutes, and action lists
• Support regulatory inspections and customer audits
• Coordinate Technical Change Request tasks and activities, collaborating with all stakeholders within project timelines and supporting the project change process

What We Are Looking For

• Dipl. Ing. / M. Sc. / B. Sc. in project management, engineering, mechanical, chemical, or a related field
• Technical knowledge in chemical and/or pharmaceutical engineering is an advantage
• Experience with SharePoint or website management
• Familiarity with cGMP environments is a plus
• Fluency in English
