Role Overview

In this role, you will support the Project Director in executing large investment projects in Visp. Your responsibilities will span from the design phases through to the handover of installations to users. This includes establishing, rolling out, and following up on robust project structures, such as organization, decision-making processes, communication, and documentation flows, adhering to SGIE Project Management Processes to enhance team efficiency.

Additionally, you will take on specific project tasks, such as serving as the Technical Project Leader (TPL) for small equipment packages, organizing workshops, and preparing reports for management, all to support the Project Director and their team.

What You Will Do

  • Manage internal coordination tasks to alleviate the Project Director’s workload.
  • Assist in preparing project reporting, including KPIs and information collection.
  • Develop and maintain Project SharePoint, establishing strong processes for administrative aspects of the project (communication center for internal teams and external partners, meeting minutes, action lists, etc.).
  • Organize internal and external workshops, townhalls, and team events, and support team members in establishing agendas and documenting outcomes.
  • Participate in and assist with regulatory inspections and customer audits.
  • Coordinate Technical Change Request tasks/activities while considering project timelines and stakeholders to support the project change process.

What We Are Looking For

  • Diploma in Engineering, M.Sc., or B.Sc. in project management, engineering, mechanical, chemical, or a related field.
  • Technical knowledge in chemical and/or pharmaceutical engineering is a plus.
  • Experience in SharePoint or website management preferred.
  • Experience in a cGMP environment is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is required.
