Job Opportunity: Scheduler for Musket Europe, SARL

We are seeking a dedicated Scheduler to join our dynamic team in Geneva, where we proudly operate as a part of Musket Europe, SARL. This pivotal role demands extensive experience in risk and trading analytics within the thriving energy supply and trading hub of Europe. We are excited to welcome new talent to our team.

Major Responsibilities

  • Enter and modify nominations, manage allocations, and maintain accurate inventories.
  • Communicate effectively with accounting, traders, mid-office personnel, and third-party entities regarding scheduling plans.
  • Reconcile discrepancies with accounting and SRA, while informing traders of potential scheduling conflicts and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Utilize Solarac to retrieve and enter movement tickets, schedule trades and movements, as well as create interbook physical and futures interbooks.
  • Input trades into SRA, calculate position changes, and prepare change explanations.
  • Maintain records of rail loadings, term deals, future date information, and origin start reports.
  • Price EFPs in collaboration with brokers and maintain a credit report for assessing future credit risks.
  • Engage in leadership development training with Peerview & Harrison.
  • Develop mid-office personnel and provide training to RTA’s.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, based on operational needs.

Education and Experience

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business preferred.

Experience:

  • Proven knowledge of US, European, and Asian refined and renewable product markets.
  • Experience analyzing market changes and communicating insights with traders across the US, Geneva, and Canadian offices.
  • Ability to generate trade ideas and strategies, including trading a speculative paper book with a 50k Value at Risk (VAR).
  • Proficient in utilizing Python and SQL for the efficient organization, structuring, and analysis of large datasets.
  • Skilled in building comprehensive US and European balances to aid market analysis and decision-making.
  • Experience overseeing the tracking of US import/export vessel activity and refinery turnarounds.
  • Previous experience in a global risk/trading analyst role is preferred.
