About Our Münchstein Clinic

Located in northwestern Switzerland, our Basel Veterinary Clinic in Münchenstein operates as an emergency and referral center, equipped with the latest diagnostic tools and a comprehensive range of medical services. Our facility handles challenging and exciting cases daily, featuring advanced diagnostic equipment, including CT, endoscopy (laparoscopy, arthroscopy, and bronchoscopy), multiple ultrasound machines, and a modern laboratory. For emergencies, we also provide an ambulance service. Our team consists of passionate specialists (Diplomates) across various fields, and we prioritize the education and training of our staff.

Your Responsibilities

We are seeking motivated veterinary nurses to reinforce our dedicated teams in emergency, internal medicine, and neurology for our 24-hour veterinary clinic in Münchenstein. If you are interested in specializing in one of these departments, this opportunity may be for you.

  • Support veterinarians during consultation hours and in surgical procedures, including pre-, intra-, and post-operative assistance.
  • Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere at the reception and over the phone, ensuring an excellent first impression.
  • Provide compassionate care to our patients, reflecting your passion for the profession.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable contact for pet owners seeking information and support.

Your Profile

  • Completed training as a veterinary nurse or veterinary technician.
  • Work experience is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of German is an advantage.
  • Self-confident, friendly, and customer-oriented demeanor.
  • A hands-on personality, capable of maintaining composure in hectic situations.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to take responsibility.
  • Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of responsibility.
