About Our Clinic

Our Basel Veterinary Clinic in Münchenstein serves as an emergency and referral clinic in northwestern Switzerland, equipped with cutting-edge diagnostics and a comprehensive array of medical services. Each day, we tackle challenging and stimulating cases, utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment, including:

  • CT Scanning
  • Endoscopy (laparoscopy, arthroscopy, and bronchoscopy)
  • Multiple ultrasound machines
  • A modern laboratory
  • An ambulance for emergencies

Our clinic is staffed by passionate specialists (Diplomates) in various fields, with a particularly well-developed surgical department. We prioritize the education and training of our staff, fostering a culture of continuous development.

Your Tasks

We are currently seeking enthusiastic veterinary nurses to join our highly motivated teams in emergency, internal medicine, and neurology at our 24-hour clinic in Münchenstein.

Are you interested in specializing in one of the departments of Emergency, Internal Medicine, or Neurology? In this role, you will leverage your knowledge and experience in a dynamic work environment. Your contributions will provide invaluable support to our veterinarians during consultation hours and throughout pre-, intra-, and post-operative care.

As a key member of our team, you'll help create a warm and inviting atmosphere for both our patients and their owners, offering competent information and support to animal lovers. Your dedication to the compassionate care of our patients is essential, as is your ability to thrive in collaboration with a young, motivated team.

Your Profile

  • Completed training as a vet nurse or veterinary technician
  • Work experience is desirable but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of German is a plus
  • Confident, friendly, and customer-oriented demeanor
  • Hands-on personality capable of maintaining composure in hectic situations
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently, taking on responsibilities
  • Flexible, enthusiastic, and accountable
